Common beans have been a traditional crop and food in Chile since before Spanish came to the country. This is the first book written on Race Chile. The objective is to present the current information published on this germplasm, then the book covers a wide variety of topics, including the pre and post Spanish era. On the other hand, the book has an international section that deals with breeding traits and methods that can be used to improve this germplasm and also some data on different production and commercial aspects of the crop. The book is written in Spanish.
